When designing the AEB acoustic bass guitar, Ibanez knew the articulation and tone clarity had to be perfect. In order to meet these standards, they built the AEB8E bass guitar entirely from scratch. A scale length of 32 inches and a nice, large body ensure that the bass guitar is clearly audible and present. The guitar is equipped with an Ibanez AEQ-2T preamplifier with a built-in tuner.
Construction of the Ibanez AEB8E-BK
Thanks to the spruce top and mahogany sides and back of this guitar, you can expect a nice, heavy sound. The neck is also made of mahogany and has a 22-fret rosewood fretboard and Ivorex II nut, which has a higher quality than synthetic bone. The bridge also has an Ivorex II saddle. The self-lubricating tuners are made of die-cast chrome, so that the bass will stay excellently tuned.
