The Beginning (2006-2010)

Started by Dave Lombardi back in November 2006 from the back bedroom of his parent's home.   Dave opened an account with a single supplier P&R Howard (now closed) selling guitars and accessories online.  

Working full time Monday to Friday during the day and then listing and packing products in the evening and weekends, things would quickly begin to grow for the next 4 years.

Physical Stores (2010-2016)

In 2010 Dave changed careers and was able to put more money into the business allowing it to continue to grow.

In order to get more brands on board the next step was to open a physical store.  This was opened in Rotherham, South Yorkshire in 2014.  The business left Rotherham town centre in 2016 due to numerous challenges including, theft and a general deterioration of the town.

As such the business relocated to larger premies in the Parkgate area of Rotherham, opening a tuition centre in 2018.

Closure of Rotherham Stores (2019-2021)

In 2019 the decision was made to close the retail store in Rotherham and keep the tuition operational.  2021 saw the business leave Rotherham completely following a successful relocation to Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

Knaresborough, North Yorkshire (2020-Present)

September 2020 saw the business embark on its biggest journey to date.  Opening a large retail, tuition and repair centre on the High Street in the beautiful market town of Knaresborough.

It wasn't without its challenge's. In the first couple of years as covid lockdowns were still taking place, as well as limited supplier stock (due a surge of people taking up instruments during lockdowns) it was a difficult time for the business to navigate.  Nonetheless, the business dug deep and pressed on.

Today the business is in great shape.  The store holds more stock than ever before and deliveries in excess of 6000 one to one music lessons every year.

Anniversary (2024)

September 2024 saw the business hit its 4 year anniversary in Knaresborough and 18 years since Dave started his journey in the world of Music Retail.
