Fishman’s revolutionary INK BODY preamp system combines the clarity of a traditional undersaddle piezo pickup with the tonal richness of a body sensor for enhanced amplified performance, and Eclipse models now feature a beautiful, figured maple ergonomic forearm contour designed to maximise comfort and playability.
One of the 3 original Faith body shapes upon launch in the winter of 2002, the Venus has become a reference point around the world as a guitar that strikes the ideal balance of size and sound. Thanks to its 15" lower bout and shallower body, the Venus is comfortable to play for long periods yet doesn’t sacrifice tone or acoustic power.
Faith Eclipse guitars combine a classic blend of solid Engelmann Spruce tops with solid Mahogany back and sides to ensure a superb sound, with an ideal blend of presence and full-bodiedtone.
The onyx-black finish, covered with a carefully applied clear lacquer, helps to tame the tonewood’s natural resonance, producing a reassuringly balanced and focused tone when amplified.
Bringing the "Eclipse" name to life, we have introduced, for the first time in our history, a beautiful, figured maple ergonomic forearm contour. Designed to maximise comfort and playability both onstage and at home, the maple arm contour is matched by stunning figured maple binding.
In line with our commitment to ethical and sustainable manufacturing, Eclipse guitars are free from all animal products: traditional abalone and mother-of-pearl rosette and logo materials have been replaced with beautifully figured maple.
The reimagined Eclipse guitars feature upgraded onboard electronics with Fishman’s revolutionary INK BODY preamp system. Carefully selected to enhance amplified performance, this system combines the clarity of a traditional undersaddle piezo pickup with the tonal richness of a body sensor. This not only elevates the amplified sound to incredible new heights but also allows for greater note expression whether playing chords or complex fingerstyle pieces.
A ‘body’ control on the discreet Fishman preamp fascia enables players to intuitively dial in the bridge-plate mounted sensor alongside the piezo, under-saddle pickup, offering greater control over the level of body-derived tone or percussion in the mix.
To ensure that your beautiful new instrument is well protected and cared for, your guitar is complete with a black woodshell hardcase, with black padded plush interior.
We do recommend that you keep your guitar in the hardcase whenever not in use, although quite why you wouldn't be playing it, we can't imagine!
