The mango wood used on this spectacular Neptune FX model sparkles through the moondust grey finish. All-solid exotic tonewoods are always remarkable to observe as each piece of timber will be genuinely unique, meaning your guitar will always truly be one of a kind.
New for 2026, a beautiful, Figured Maple ergonomic forearm contour has been introduced to the guitar body to maximise comfort and playability. This Maple arm contour is matched by the stunning figured maple soundhole rosette and binding that covers the outer edges of each instrument.
The design of the Faith Neptune draws inspiration from Patrick James Eggle's renowned 'Saluda' bodyshape. This body shape, referred to as the 'Baby-Jumbo' due to its 16" lower bout, offers a powerful and robust sound without the bulk of a full-sized 17” Jumbo guitar. The Moondust Neptune model, like many other Faith Neptune guitars, comes with a cutaway which gives easy access to the upper fretsas well as reducing the physical size just a little more.
Mango usually has a naturally light-brown base hue, although the mango trees that grow in Java, Indonesia (where our workshops are based) are lighter in colour than the more common Hawaiian Mango species. This lighter base-tone is fantastic news since it enables us to complement the natural grain patterns with lighter colours hues more effectively – as is evident with the Moondust finish.
Mango is a 'hybrid' of a hardwood and a softwood, comparable to Mahogany, Koa, or Trembesi (as used on the Blood Moon models), and we select the stiffest pieces we can to give the very best tone for these remarkable instruments.
We don't need to tell you that this instrument is truly gorgeous to look at thanks to the lacquered, translucent onyx-black stain, the flamed maple binding and the often-stripy Ebony fittings. Tonally, it performs strongly in the upper-bass frequencies, holds on well through the mid-range, and tails off a little at the top. So, with careful playing, you'll discover a gratifying sound that carefully blends warmth and astonishing depth. But perhaps most significantly, you'll have a guitar that looks - and sounds - completely different to anything else.
The Fishman INK3 preamp and sonicore pickup system make it easy to amplify the Neptune FX Moondust. The undersaddle piezo pickup is controlled by the side-mounted, flush-fitting preamp with 3 band equalisation and a built-in tuner.
The output jack, battery box and strap button are cleverly and discreetly built into the end of the guitar.
To ensure that your beautiful new instrument is well protected and cared for, your guitar is complete with a woodshell hardcase, with padded plush interior. We recommend that you keep your guitar in the hardcase whenever not in use.
