David Bowie Space Oddity 40th Anniversary Vinyl Record

Vinyl 1LP. This is David Bowie’s second album, and was originally released in 1969 with the title “David Bowie” in the UK and “Man Of Words / Man Of Music” in the USA. It includes his first commercial hit, the stunning “Space Oddity” , which reached #5 in the UK singles chart. All the songs except Space Oddity were produced by Tony Visconti, and were a flavour of things to come.  The album features Herbie Flowers and Rick Wakeman as session musicians. A classic album that was a commercial flop at the time due to a lack of promotion.

This is the remastered 2016 reissue, presented in a gatefold sleeve and pressed on 180g vinyl.
