Description
Featured here is the left handed version of the Turner 44 CE utilising quality tonewoods, in this case a solid spruce top paired with ovangkol back and sides. Please note that the model shown in the pictures is right handed. Ovangkol, whilst tonally similar sounding to rosewood, offers a slightly ‘fuller’ midrange voice and beautiful stripy grain to boot! Always popular amongst Turner Guitars fans, the 40 series are real ‘lookers’ and do stand out from the crowd.
From custom hand scalloped bracing to stylish body binding and concentric-ring rosette decorations, the Turner 40 series are eye catching and exceptionally well built instruments. Offset pearl fret markers and Turner custom solid rosewood bridge complete the aesthetics and when paired with state-of-the-art onboard electronics utilising the Fishman Isys+ system (which includes built in guitar tuner) you know that a true acoustic tone will be delivered either in the studio or when playing live. The grand auditorium size is probably the most versatile option in the Turner Guitars range, offering an exceptionally well balanced tone across the spectrum and unbeatable sustain thanks to the bone nut and saddle.
