It features a traditional, medium C shape. It provides enough heft to leverage the fretboards' width without feeling like a baseball bat. Its 25.4" scale length offers standard tension. The nut width accommodates standard 12 string spacing without causing immediate hand fatigue.

Sound: The Yamaha FG-512 12 string acoustic guitar is widely celebrated for its loud, rich, and full-bodied sound. It delivers the signature high, bell-like, and jangly acoustic chorus that players look for in a vintage 12 string. Its jumbo dreadnought body shape allows lower and mid-range notes to look, preventing the 12 string setup from sounding too thin or tinny.

Cosmetic: This guitar is in great condition with just some general aging to the finish, discoloring, and minor oxidization, which is common with a guitar this age.

Condition Rating: 3

It is important to note that all guitars we take in at The Music Bank are serviced and restrung (if necessary) on arrival into store.

Pre-Owned Condition Rating Guide

Rating Score 1 - Excellent - Item is in 'as new' condition

Rating Score 2 - Very Good - Item will show signs of light use

Rating Score 3 - Good - Item will show signs of use including light marks

Rating Score 4- Average - Item will show signs of heavy use, dents/chips

Rating Score 5 - Not Working - Item is sold for parts

About The Music Bank

Located in the heart of Knaresborough on the busy High Street, the Grade II, former Barclays Bank is where we call home!
