The Music Bank in Knaresborough stocks a wide range of instruments and top brands as well as providing 1-1 music tuition to the local area.

The company has moved all of its retail operations from Rotherham, South Yorkshire to Knaresborough throughout September 2020. All of our online operations and retail are now being run from the new store.

We have a very exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team with an independent music retailer in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The new store hosts top brands such as Fender, Marshall, Gretsch, Jackson, Faith, Vintage, Tanglewood, Sigma, Blackstar and many more!

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a 'Sales Assistant' at our store in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

The role is a sales based role set in a 'fast paced' retail environment and as such will be more suited to a good multi tasker and excellent comminutor. From processing deliveries to serving customers, the role will cover a wide diverse range of duties, some of which are listed below.

The successful candidate will be responsible for...

• Dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone
• Visual merchandising (Training given)
• Processing deliveries (Training given)

• Serving customers (Training given)
• Providing excellent customer service (Training given)
• Involved with the businesses social media platforms (Training given)
• Demonstrating products to customers
• Reporting direct to the Store Supervisors & Business Development Manager
• Involved in staff meetings
• Bringing new ideas

6hour contract (Sunday) With the potential to work Saturdays and Weekdays

Requirements & Advanced DBS Check

The successful candidate will ideally need to meet the following criteria...

• At least 1 Years sales experience
• Grades A-C in English & Maths
• Play Guitar to a good standard
